Vinnie Rose Solo Guitar

Vinnie Rose performs at 200+ events a year such as weddings, private parties, restaurants, clubs, festivals, senior living communities and wineries. As Minnesota’s premiere acoustic guitarist and vocalist his mastery of a wide variety of musical styles sets him apart in the Twin Cities music scene. Vinnie is fluent in the musical stylings of greats such as Buddy Holly, James Taylor, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffet, Eric Clapton, Keith Urban, Coldplay, John Mayer, Sam Smith, and many, many more. In addition, his shows regularly feature his large repertoire of original compositions. Professionally trained in the traditions of classical, jazz, country, and rock, Vinnie is able to artfully design performances that are dynamic, cross-generational, skillful and extremely entertaining. He adds up to 10 tracks of live guitar parts using a looping pedal to many of his songs. This live looping technique allows him to create an ensemble sonority and frees him up to take guitar solos. Vinnie loves to engage and entertain a crowd. His passion and delight in music are easily transferred to his audiences. He welcomes song requests from audience members and, when appropriate, can be found chatting with folks on his set breaks.

What client's have to say about the Vinnie Rose Band:

"My husband, family, and myself were extraordinarily pleased with having Vinnie Rose play at our wedding reception. Vinnie was very easy to work with, had a HUGE repertoire of songs to choose from, was willing to learn some new ones, and was just simply very talented...Our wedding guests were a good mix of dancing and non-dancing, so having the trio play familiar tunes was a great way to both provide music for the dancers and excellent musical performance for the non-dancers. I was particularly grateful when I requested a last minute change in the final song, and Vinnie and crew were willing to perform it on the fly (and they nailed it!). Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Vinnie!" - Leah and Jeff, Minneapolis MN

Vinnie and his band delivered on every level at our wedding. He did everything we asked and more. We had a barn wedding and wanted an Americana vibe for the music. We gave him a list of songs for inspiration that included everything from Trampled by Turtles to Bruce Springsteen, and he learned every one of them (something we certainly didn't expect!), putting together set lists that were perfect for the occasion. The musicians…were all awesome, and they knew how to get our guests dancing. Their level of professionalism was extraordinary.  Vinnie also played during our ceremony and solo for a cocktail hour.  His excellent guitar playing and beautiful voice really established the mood for our day. We will never forget exiting our ceremony to his rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together".  We would highly recommend The Vinnie Rose Band for any event, and if you want something on the Americana side, he can definitely deliver.

We heard a lot of compliments throughout the night. We were very happy with [Vinnie's] performance. The music during dinner was the perfect mood setter, and wasn't too loud nor too soft. Also, the transition from dinner music to the dance was very smooth and speedy. Everyone enjoyed the music very much. The father-daughter dance was exactly what Courtney imagined it to be, and it will always be remembered as one of her highlights of the day. Also, we hadn't thought about a mother-son dance before the reception, and we were very impressed how the band handled that and decided on a song and played it without any preparation. We didn't have to stress about it at all, [Vinnie] completely took care of it and it was lovely. I heard a lot of comments on the music played later in the night too. It was good dancing music and people were enjoying the music out on the dance floor. Thanks so much for helping make our day perfect. We would gladly recommend you!
